🌟 Highlights

Introduction
The NSS Unit of Digboi Mahila Mahavidyalaya organized an Adult Literacy Campaign at Takow Pathar on 07 September 2025. The initiative aimed to spread awareness about the importance of literacy and empower adults in the community with basic reading and writing skills.

Objectives
- To promote literacy among adults who have limited or no formal education.
- To sensitize the community about the role of education in social and economic development.
- To encourage participation in lifelong learning and skill development.

Programme Highlights
- Awareness Session: Volunteers conducted interactive talks on the significance of literacy in daily life.
- Learning Activities: Basic reading and writing exercises were introduced to participants.
- Community Engagement: Local residents actively participated, sharing their experiences and challenges related to illiteracy.
